If you read my earlier blog post, Tired of central air conditioning, you know that I looked into getting a ductless mini split for my house. Well, I now own a ductless mini split and I am happy as a clam with it. I have the lowest energy bills I have ever experienced before. I don’t waste energy with ductwork, cooling unused rooms or forgetting to turn the AC off. The mini split seems to have solved all my problems.
My home did not have to be destroyed and then updated in the installation process. I saved so much money installing this non invasive device. Now that I have multiple indoor air handlers up in my house, they look surprisingly stylish! Most HVAC systems are eye sores. They are giant, bulky and dated looking. The mini split mounts high on the wall out of eyesight. When you do catch a glance of it, the machine looks so sleek and clean. I actually like how the mini split looks in my house.
Having the capability of zone control also has reduced my energy bills and increased comfort in the home. My multiple occupancy house is happy to no longer fight over who gets to man the thermostat. I love that I don’t feel guilty having AC when I cook. I can up the cooling when I work out or lower the air conditioning in my bedroom at night. Having a mini split is just so easy, efficient and altogether wonderful. I recommend it to anyone who wants easy cooling convenience.
